You may contact us by telephone or email.

Queries/Special Requirements
If you wish to clarify anything and/or if you have any disabilities or any dietary or other special requirements including a particular preference for a room, please raise the matter with us prior to booking, otherwise we may be unable to meet your exact requirements.

Reservations

  • You may make enquiries regarding reservations via the form on this page or by email or directly by telephone.
  • We will endeavour to acknowledge all such bookings within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Please note that all bookings remain incomplete until our acknowledgement is sent and the deposit paid.

Cancellations, No Shows and Insurance
If you need to cancel please contact us immediately.

Non-availability
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation.

Prices
The stated prices include accommodation plus full English or continental breakfast, service and VAT, and unless otherwise stated are based on two people sharing a room.

Payment
Payment is by cash or cheque.  We do not have card facilities.

Children and Animals
We are unable to accommodate children (including babies) under four years. However older children are welcome and we have a cosy bedroom with 2 single beds available for them to use. Children using this bedroom can then share the en suite facilities in the parents rooms. Younger children are welcome if all the guests know each other and come as a group.
Dogs are welcome by special arrangement.

Arrival
Your accommodation is available to you from 5.00 pm on the day of arrival. Please let us know if you require access to your room before this time by calling Nicola on 07818 272523 and  we will be as accommodating as possible. It is always helpful if you can let us know your approximate arrival time and means of travel.

Departure
Please be ready to leave your accommodation and return your key to reception by 11.00 am on the day of departure. If you do not do so you will be deemed to have occupied the room for an additional night and will be charged accordingly.

Damages and Breakages
Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any damage or breakages which are caused to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but if you do not report them or if the damage or breakage is significant we may charge the full cost of reinstatement or replacement together with a reasonable administration fee and for any consequential loss we may sustain.

WiFi
WiFi is available free of charge and in consideration of our permitting you to use this or providing you with the password you agree that neither you nor any member of your party will use it for any illegal or unlawful purpose and the you will indemnify and keep indemnified us against any fines, penalties, damages or other losses including any consequential losses whether of a financial or other nature which we may incur as a direct or indirect result of any breach of this agreement. For the avoidance of doubt this term shall apply equally to all guests.

Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Smoking
For the benefit of the majority of our guests we operate a strict non smoking policy throughout the house. If you smoke while in your room or in any other interior part of the premises (which for the avoidance of doubt includes while leaning out of a window or standing in a doorway) you may be asked to leave immediately and you will be liable for:

  • the cost of your accommodation to date
  • any cleaning costs associated with removing the smell of smoke from the room or affected area
  • the cost of booking the room for the remainder of your stay or if longer for the number of nights for which it is unavailable to let in order to carry out such cleaning and any consequential loss we may sustain.
